UN-REAL!! The food is AMAZING! Loved the pulled pork, ribs, Mac and cheese, cole slaw, corn bread, sauces, and the PEOPLE! Love the owner of this business, and his employee was lovely also. They brought their food truck to our home for our party and it was the BEST party we have ever had. If I could give TEN stars, I would!

I’ve had this food truck on several occasions with one being a wedding. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. I typically get the pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese. They add a small amount of slaw to their sandwiches. I think the pork is flavorful and the mac n cheese has a little kick to it. My husband ordered the porken this trip. It is pulled chicken and pork. He said it was good (no further description). He also ordered the cornbread. I tried a bite and it was delicious. Sweet and thick. There are a number of sauces to choose from. I really like their Carolina sauce. Needless to say we will be back.

On a whim, I stopped at the mobile truck this afternoon, and had one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Everything is great here! The burgers are some of the best I’ve had along with the pulled pork and other bbq classics. The sweet cornbread is to die for and the service is outstanding. Nice small bar and dining room so it has a great vibe and it’s not extremely busy like the rest of southside.

Great barbecue, friendly service and a variety of sauces. SS BBQ is a great local pick and is off the main drag so you can avoid a typical Carson restaurant crowd. Highly recommend the pulled pork and brisket sandwich and the ribs.

When we entered, the smell alone made our mouths water, and the food did not disappoint! At our table, we ordered tender, smoky, delicious ribs (cut apart in advance for an even char and easy eating), smoked salmon, BBQ chicken, and Lobster mac and cheese, with sides of baked beans, Carolina cole slaw, pepper jack mac and cheese, and moist, sweet cornbread. Talk about satisfying!

The decor is cozy and clean, and the old wooden bar adds to the inviting atmosphere.

I heartily recommend a visit to South Side BBQ Company. Just be sure to save me a seat!

First of all, this is the only place that actually gets requests correctly on delivery services!!! not to be dramatic but this is the best pulled pork sandwich i’ve ever put into my mouth. and the fries are also amazing. 10/10 would sell my soul for South Side BBQ Company.

Best cornbread ever! Ate the grilled corn on the cob and the pulled pork/brisket sandwich! It was delicious.

From the presentation of my glass of water to the food, right down to the atmosphere, I love this place. 10/10 and I don’t give that lightly. They know good food.

Hands down best food and service I’ve had in the Pittsburgh area. Highly recommend getting the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese!
